can't kill loop1-5

Every time I mount -o loop a file system a process named loop[1-5]  gets started.  When i umount the
partition the process loop[1-5] remains.  This causes a problem after 5 mount -o loop commands.

Does anybody know how to terminate this processes?

Re: can't kill loop1-5

I guess I'll answer my own question.  after the umount.  run losetup -d /dev/loop[1-5].
