HDD Hibernation on Debian

Hello

I have install Debian Lenny according the easy way of http://dns323.kood.org/howto:chroot_debian

From the web page of dns-323 I have configure hard disk to be hibernated after 10 minutes.

I have noticed that after the Debian installation the hard disks do not being turned off

How can I fix this?

You could try to put the debian folder on a USB stick instead of HD.

You should be able to find guides on this forum/wiki howto mount an usb stick using ffp.

I try to hibernate using debian packages but it does not work
Booting from USB is the only solution
