Does Transmission move the completed torrents, or an external script?
Also, there's a "umask" parameter in settings.json, which defaults to 18 (umask 022 in octal notation).
Is that value different in your settings?
Offline
With the default umask of 022, Transmission will create files with permissions 644 and folders with 755.
Offline
Transmission does the moving. I don't think I've used any other external script ever since i found out that the watch folder works correctly. Mine is still 18. Here's an example of a ls -la in my Downloads folder.

But those permissions look just fine? Everyone can do anything.

I can't move the folders out of the Downloads directory. I get an error.

Maybe because the patent folder belongs to root?
Offline
The Downloads folder is the same. nobody and allaccount.
Does it matter if HD_a2 belongs to root root?

I just replicated the scenario and it's working fine for me. Maybe there's a
problem with the destination?
Offline
Interesting. But the destination is only moving from the working folder you see above in the image to the main directory. I'll try switching it and see what happens. If not I'll do a reinstall of the whole thing and see if that helps. Thanks KyleK!

That script has a variable REMOVE_COMPLETED set to 1. Without diving further into the script code, that very muh looks to me like the culprit.
Thanks - I've altered the config section and now the torrents aren't getting deleted. :-)

Perhaps you could find a way to rephrase your request to be polite and courteous. KyleK does a FANTASTIC job of keeping us up to date with releases. He is under NO obligation to do so and does not charge for his wonderful work and help.

Well put, FunFiler.

Your comment is misplaced. Who asked that?
I simply asked if the new version is scheduled to go to ffp. With that question has two options.... answer or not.

You did :-)

English may not be your native language so I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I simply found it impolite to ask your question the way you did, "When will we have".
Phrasing it something like this would have been more appropriate (IMHO), certainly more polite. It would be nice to recognise the work KyleK does for FREE along with your "request".
"Hi KyleK. I appreciate all the work you do recompiling Transmission for the platforms we use. I see that there is a new Transmission release. Would it be possible to compile a version for FFP 0.5 and 0.7 as there are some features that would be great to have? It would be greatly appreciated. No rush, I know you have a busy life. Thank you."

Well, no. English is not my mother tongue months.

Does it not work because you are not on ffp-0.7-arm, or does it not work for some other reason?

Hello!
That works in 0.7 version 2.60 updating it with the -u funpkg?
Offline
I just noticed that the 2.60 package is borked. I've pulled it for now and will put up a proper package soon.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that script. In fact, I don't use any scripts in conjunction with Transmission.
Maybe someone else here uses it and can be of assistance though.

Hey everyone,
Transmission v2.60 is now available for all platforms.
As always, check the first post for download links.
Have fun!
