DNS-323 Cannot Delete Folders

I have had a DNS-323 for about one week now.  I have two Seagate ST350041NS 500 GB SATA2 hard drives in RAID1 with Firmware 1.03.  The DNS-323 seems to be working fine except that I found out today that I cannot delete folders with Windows Explorer (Windows XP Pro SP2).  I can delete the files in the folders but not the folders.  Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Thank you.

Re: DNS-323 Cannot Delete Folders

Huh?
that's weird - I have an almost identical setup - 2x Samsung 500GB raid1 1.03 WinXP pro SP2. No problems at all - just tried it to confirm.
1)Are you getting an error message?
2)Using network neighbourhood or a mapped drive?
3)Have you set any Users/groups/passwords?

Re: DNS-323 Cannot Delete Folders

problem due to folder nesting that has reached a very long path?

Re: DNS-323 Cannot Delete Folders

This morning I was able to delete the folders from a different PC.  I didn't try it on the same PC.  However, last night I deleted most of the files in the folders to reduce the space used (~13 GB->~1.5 GB).  I don't know if deleting these files did anything to correct the problem.  Yes, I do have a lot of nested folders.
