Using DNS 323 for 1-wire I/O systems?

I just started looking into home monitoring systems for power and water usage in my home.  I have a TED5000 which is kind of neat but it only tracks power usage but they did put a good onboard web server that supplies all that is needed to trend and keep track of power usage.  I looked around for something similar for monitoring temperature on all floors and outside the house and water usage.  Seems they have web servers but they just setup the I/O, your stuck using a full blown computer to track and compile the data, or you must give up your privacy and send it to some 3rd party web page to be compiled into a meaningful plot.

This got me to thinking about my old D-link 323 (I now use a 325 and my 323 just sets around), what if I could use it for a web server to manage and plot the I/O from the single wire system.

Anyone doing anything like this?
