installing Optware on ffp 0.7

I used this Guide http://dns323.kood.org/howto:optware

Is this outdated for ffp 0.7

I followed to the point where the guide says:

"(Only for fonz fun_plug 0.5): To make the PATH variable permanent, edit the PATH in your /ffp/etc/profile script."

I'm not sure if I need to do this and how to do it.

This is what the profile script reads:

# Set the default system $PATH:
PATH=/ffp/bin:/usr/bin:/bin
if [ $(/ffp/bin/id -u) -eq 0 ]; then
<------>PATH=/ffp/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:$PATH
fi
export PATH

What do I need to change.

Or if this is outdated how do I reverse what I did from the guide and what is the better way to use Optware Packages with ffp 0.7?

Thanks for helping a Linux illiterate.

Re: installing Optware on ffp 0.7

I just deleted everything after I found a script in the forum that kinda automates everything.
