Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Tried several times to install fun_plug 0.7 but installation always stops at the point where "slacker" wants to downlod the latest package list with following error:

Really? In that case I guess somehow rsync is blocked for you. If you can reach to http://ffp.inreto.de/ffp/0.7/oabi/packages/ in your browser, you can exchange the rsync:// address in /ffp/etc/funpkg/sites file.

That is the address stated in my sites file already, it reads:
s rsync://ffp.inreto.de/ffp/0.7/oabi/packages

Read carefully. I proposed to exchanged the rsync protocol by the http protocol.

Yes thank you, I realized after I posted my reply and it worked fine on the inreto-site.
However it looks like the rsync problem is on my side, since it would not function on wolf-u.li's site as well and there http:// test with the browser brings an 404-error.
