I have recently flashed my dns 323 so it can read the 3.0 tb hard drive I installed
This is the error log that was produced

The DNS-323 is only good for 2TB hard discs maximum. Even then you have to go to flakey firmware 1.10; perform the formatting; return to either firmware 1.09 or 1.08; to continue the setup.
And not all 2TB drives work with this box. I have had particular problems with WD - cant remember which. Those discs are now in other servers for backup.
