Default settings for DNS-323 are:
root@dlink:/ffp/home/root# ulimit -all time(seconds) unlimited file(blocks) unlimited data(kb) unlimited stack(kb) 8192 coredump(blocks) 0 memory(kb) unlimited locked memory(kb) 32 process 512 nofiles 1024 vmemory(kb) unlimited locks unlimited
I already changed nofiles to 65535 becouse I started to have problems with Transmission. I'm thinking is there a goal in maxing out other parameters, like: stack(kb), coredump(blocks), locked memory(kb) and process. Is there a point they are set like this and is there something to gain by setting them up higher? I'm trying to use as much resources DNS-323 have, becouse I've noticed diminished performance. Slow read/write from HDD, from USB, very slow WebGUI, etc.
