... seems to be "official", Conceptronic released also a new version for the twin CH3SNAS here:

The Release notes of the conceptronic Firmware are very poor

Firmware version 1.01:

Default IP changed from 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.0.20

This IP is used when there is no DHCP server in the network.
(or when direcly connected to the computer. Computer should have a fixed IP)

With the *new* 1.04 I've the same Problemes as with the 1.04 beta firmware ( Excel & Winword can't be saved on the samba share).

Nothing on Dlinks webpages. I assume this is still a BETA.

Previous version published was b21 this is b28. I wonder what is different.

the firmware on the site of conceptronic is the 1.01 firmware of them and is the intial release. During MP there was a little issue of the default IP and their Manual that's why it was stated fixes default ip address.

1.02 is on it's way but not ready and tested yet.

Just for the case that D-Link goes bankrupt suddenly and that we never see again this firmware i grabbed a copy of the 1.04b28 file.
As far as i understand the software is distributed under the GNU public license. So if anybody is interested in this file ...
let me know. By the way: Did i mention that I have a little black box in my cellar which supports anonymous FTP ...
