AV UPnP Server webpage?

Hi, when I bought a ch3snas I thought the integrated Av Upnp server would have access through a webpage like twonkyvision.
Is this Av upnp server support or a integrated browser?

I'm using a Transgear DVX-500E to access it but even with twonkyvision running it's not working properly.
When I choose a divx movie the player hangs waiting for something and in pictures it takes ages to sort them and only shows half of selected picture.

I know this is not a recent player but it works fine with other media servers like ultimate server, wizd or linktheater server.

Re: AV UPnP Server webpage?

please note that many UPnP clients can ask for many different type of server type commands which are maybe not supported. I've tested the UPnP server with the Conceptronic C54WMP Player and it's awful running smooth. THe only issue we found was that SRT files could not be played along with the Divx which has been addressed, found and solved in the 1.02 CH3SNAS firmware.

Butttttt the standard UPnP intel code is verrrry buggy so your Transgear DVX-500E could suffer from a lot of issues itself which cannot be related to the server. That what I'm guessing cause if even Twonky is not running smooth you write ...

UPnP Server is nothing more / less than a database with files in it, so yeah maybe someone can build an http gui around that ;-)
