So far i understand that both devices are equal, right? Just to be sure, there should be no problem using it with OS-X? I am asking because in the manual there is only Windows and Linux listed as "supported OS". But i guess OS-X will also work fine with the CH3SNAS? Does anybody use it together with OS-X Clients?
Second question: Is it possible or does it make sense to use firmware for the DNS323 on the CH3SNAS?

Anybody knows if this works and makes sense? Or should i stay with the CH3SNAS firmware?

There is some kind of firmware check on the CH3SNAS, so it's not possible to use the firmware of the DNS323 on it.

I received my CH3SNAS today, will configure it tonight and report how it works. I am planning to use OS-X and Windows XP clients, a Philips Streaming (not sure if i will use the built in UPNP solution or use TwonkyMedia).
Does anybody use the built in UPNP solution, how does it work?
