Upon syncing, files created with odd names

Hello. I am syncing over to my 323 using Chronosync for the mac. I've sync'd with this utility before from my desktop to my laptop no problem, but in trying to schedule a backup from my desktop to the NAS, I've noticed some weird behavior. Files are being created with zeros preceding the filename...

So on my desktop: ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library
Becomes on the NAS: /Pictures/0iPhoto Library

What could cause this?

Ok so I set Chronosync to see the iPhoto library as a bundle so it would see it as just a "directory". Now I am getting errors that filenames are too long :
