I've have read serveral posts about this subject, but I can't get it to work. I found a recompiled version of webs on port 88. But when I start that one after I've killed thge original en copied all the webpages to /mnt/HD_a2/web, then my explorer says can't open /web/login.asp. But shouldn't he look in /web/web for this page, because I read you had to ln -s /mnt/HD_a2/web /web/web.
Hopefully someone can help me out on this because I want to start lighttp on port 80 to setup a website.
Thanks in advance

I have lighttp running in my DNS-323, but I run it on port 8080, and then run a virtual server on my router that sends inbound port 80 requests to port 8080 on the DNS.

Unfortunately redirecting port 80 to port 8080 is not a option for my Zyxel-router. But what I found out (reading this forum) is that when you restart webs after yoy have launched lighttpd on port 80, webs will search for another free port because port 80 is than occupied bij lighttpd. It the will then find port 81 as the first free port and thats fine for me.
