"The network path was not found."

I occasionally lose connection to my DNS-323 with the following error in Windows XP: "The network path was not found."  When this happens the little goweb.htm administrator application provided by D-Link also times out.

Typically this occurs when I have not accessed the device in several days (...perhaps a week or more?  I haven't timed it.).   Pressing the button on the front of the box does nothing.  Pulling the power cable for a few seconds and then powering it back up generally solves the problem.

I have made no modifications to the device.  My LAN is wired, not wireless.  Firmware revision is 1.02.

I would like to be able to put this down in the basement, plug it into a UPS, and forget about it.  But I don't want to have to walk down there and power cycle it whenever I need to write or read a file.

Is this a known problem, and is there a known solution?

Thanks for any help or information.
