I'm in the process of ripping my music collection to FLAC (storing it on my DNS-323) and have purchased a Squeezebox to play the collection.
Has anyone got the slimserver software working directly on the DNS-323, the software is Open Source and all written in Perl to be portable. I think what I need is Perl (with multi threading support) available on the DNS. I would rather not have to have a some other box running just to serve up the tunes.
I have seen the other threads on slimserver that all seem to chroot to a full linux distro but I am hoping to do this with just a fun-plug add in.
