Does the U-Boot version that comes with DSM-G600 support booting from a USB device such as a memory stick?

What do the commands "usb reset; usb scan" return?

Btw, I ordered the A232DBH3v component. I can't way to hook it up.

no, the u-boot in the DSM-G600 does not have USB support compiled in.

The current layout of the flash memory is such that adding anyfunctionality to u-boot is all but impossible. It would be possible to rearrange thigs a bit, but if you get it wrong, flashing a new u-boot will brick your hardware and the only way out of that requires a JTAG, unfortunately the JTAG interface is not populated so you'd have to figure that out first.

No, I'd need to figure out what components are missing from the jtag interface, this is not currently in my plans, unless somebody can tell me what they are.
