Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Dropbear and Squid questions

Ok,

I am trying to get dropbear and squid working but am having 2 specific problems.

Dropbear.  Got it running from fun_plug.  When I use putty to connect using ssh from another machine on my network I get the following error:

Server refused to allocate pty

What do I need to do?

Also when I run squid I get the following error:

FATAL: Could not determine fully qualified hostname.  Please set 'visible_hostname'

I have searched but cannot find answer to either problem

Running fun_plug 0.3.  Debian etch. Firmware 1.3.

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks

Trux

Re: Dropbear and Squid questions

I haven't gotten it fully running myself yet, but I just editted /etc/squid.conf, found the variable listed, and put in 'disk'

I was under the impression it was just used for logging and/or internally in squid...
