Disk is Full error with Windows ME

Hi There, I have just set up a DNS 323 on a wireless router accessed by two machines - one has Win XP and the other has Win ME.

The setup for both couldnt have been easier and everything works great with the Win XP machine. However, from the Win ME machine, whilst I can access and transfer files to the NAS, I cannot edit/ update any files nor can I create any files. From MS Excel, I get a message "Disk is Full". From MS Word, I get a message "The disk is full or too many files are open".

As part of the setup, I havent created any quotas, permissions are default (ALL have read/write). Does any one have any ideas ?

Thanks.

Re: Disk is Full error with Windows ME

I also emailed D Link support in Australia and got this reply:

Thank you for your email and choosing D-link products. Please kindly be advised that our DNS-323 does not support Win ME or win98. I am sorry about this inconvenience.
