Hi all.
I successfully installed Debian on my DNS-323 ( http://dns323.kood.org/howto:install_debian ).
I browse all the forum and i can't find to how shutdown the DNS with the power-off button.
Thanks for your help.

If you run native debian you need to figure out how to monitor the power button yourself.
One of the drawbacks of running native debian.

Thanks frodo.
But how to do this ?

You need to figure the device driver being used in the official release and se if you can install it in your native debian. Me personally don't think it is that important. Why you might ask? If you gone through the trouble to install a native debian you are most probably very familiar with linux. And if you really use the shutdown or init command to manage such tasks. ;-)
Doesn't poweroff or init 5 shut off the dns-323?

The purpose is simple :
i'm not the only user for dns-323.
i just want to have the same functionnality with original firmware (pushing button for more than 5 seconds power off the DNS).

You probably want to examine the following binary from the standard firmware:
root 1044 1 0 Nov16 ? 00:00:00 chkbutton
It is most probably responsible to handle the shutdown. However I think it does a lot more so be careful.
Don't know if the source code is available or not...
