Need assistance with the DNS-323 web setup interface utility

Hello Everyone - I just recently purchased a new DNS-323 along with 2 Seagate SATA 750GB drives.  I am running RAID 1 along with F/W 1.03  Everything seems to be working very well.  I bought the system to use as a backup device for all my computers.  Installation was extremely easy along with network setup, etc.  The only problem I am having is with the web interface utility.  I can bring up the login screen but then everytime I go to a different section, I get the following message in Internet Explorer -
"This document has moved to a new location. Please update your documents to reflect the new location."  The first "location" is a hotlink that I click and it takes me back into the web interface.  I have to do this over and over and over....  well you get the picture.  What can I do to fix this problem?  I have other D-Link products and have never encountered this problem with their web interfaces.  I have not contacted support yet, but thought I would try this group and see if anyone else has experienced the same problem.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Also one last question....  is there anyway I can change the Volume name that is assigned with the disk is first formated?  The default name is Volume_1.  I would like to call it a different name if possible.  Thank you for taking time to read my post / question.

Did you encounter the same problem using Firefox?
Which URL did you enter to get the web interface?

This is happening all the time when using the "raw" ip address such as  http://192.........   and also from using the provided utility: easy_search(3.5.0.0).exe.  I only use Internet Explorere v6.0.2900  I do not use FireFox.

Just a guess: Try to add your DNS-323 to the "trusted zone" in IE.
Maybe your security settings in IE disables some JavaScript, Cookies, etc. for your DNS-323.

Cheers,

I tried adding my DNS-323 to my trusted sites in Internet Explorer, but it sill did not resolve the problem.  This is really strange and frustrating !!!!!

Re: Need assistance with the DNS-323 web setup interface utility

Do you use a personal firewall like ZoneAlarm? If so, probably the firewall has some kind of Adblock feature enabled that prevents your computer from cookies and so on. Unload the firewall and try again.

Try with Firefox. If you're not able to access the DNS-323 with a different browser, you probably get a different error message so that you have a new entry point for error analysis.
