Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Does someone know how can I define the DNS-323 as a master domain? I want to authenticate my user in Windows XP by Samba of DNS-323.

gugaucb, glad you found the hacking forum
In order to customize samba you need to install Fonz's fun_plug http://dns323.kood.org/howto:fun_plug
that will get you telnet access and you can create your custom smb.conf to run
Talk a look at http://dns323.kood.org/forum/t1232-wher … ed%3F.html
for an example script to restart samba.
I am running a custom smb.conf; however, I haven't' setup any smb.conf like you want,
so I'm not sure if success is even possible, but it's worth a try.
You might need to be concerned with the following details:
1) all the samba configuration options you need, have to be supported by samba v2.2.8a, if
you are using D-Link FW1.03 (beta versions of FW1.04 are available which have samba v3x if you need to try that)
2) some of the path info for options, will need to be modified, to the correct location on DNS-323 directory structure
3) the users home directories need to be created on the on the hard drive (/mnt/HD_a2/home), not /home
Post you desired smb.conf here and see if we can work through it.
One more thing... make sure you have a BACKUP of any data you think is valuable on your system.
As with any hacking, unexpected results are common, and could result in loss of data.
Are you running a RAID setup?
