I have a question can someone please explain, how I can get my PS3 to recognise my DNS323 to play stored movies ect.I am aware from reading on the web that some have done it.
However its over my head and would very much like an idiots guide to getting it to work please..

Users say that next firmware, 1.04 will fix this. Some users here on the forum has tested the beta firmware with success.

That would be fantastic the error on the Ps3 dlna error to do with the digital alliance,next question is how long until the 1.04 is ready to ship this one has been on the cards since July.
The old every three months a firmware tweek is slipping, however a nice Christmas present it would be.

I use the twonky media server (you'll find posts on this forum with more info) to do this, although it's a bit annoying at present as the PS3 doesn't support xvid/divx so you need to convert most of the media... the PS3 is getting this support at some point though which will make it easier.

yes the Ps3 is getting a divx firmare update with some other goodies due next week so the word goes the psp is getting one big one next tuesday too

I tried twonky - but 16MB RAM is not enough for 40k mp3's...

I'm using Twonky on my HPMediavault and it works fine. You need to use the MIPS version and add a few library files but that was it. I might be setting this up on the 323 this weekend if I can't resolve a multi folder issue I'm having with the built in AV streaming app.
