I was wondering if anyone can help me. When I transfer files my mouse (USB) works intermittently or not at all. I have tried another NDAS device with the same problem.
I am using a dlink wireless N PCI card (DWA-542) and have the DNS-323 connected to my dlink router (DIR-625).
I have changed the PCI card to a different slot and confirmed that it is not using the same IRQ as the USB controller.
When I connect the Router directly to the PC via the onboard LAN I can transfer without problem.
I am at a loss, pls advise.
Thanks

Hi Tim,
Keep in mind that most wireless n router hardly get to there rated speed if you use:
- mixed wirless-b, -g &n
- mixed WEP& WPA
To get real wireless-n speed set your router to -n excusively and WPA2 security. Even using WPA will slow it down.
For a better understanding read the review of the Dir-655 (think this one has the same chip-set):

Especially the parts on wireless performance and security mode throughput.
At this moment this is a problem that applies to most onf the wireless-n products avialable.

Problems with DMA on your machine? This can cause jerky mouse behaviour...
