Hi,
the problem is, that mldonkey want to use your /home as default directory, which is on the memory of your Dlink device and as such is rather small and needed for running programs on the unit. You should use a directory on your HDD, which is under your /mnt directory (most likely /mnt/Hd_a2, or your second HDD, if any at /mnt/Hd_b2). If you use the standard starting script provided by Shadowandy, than you would not have this problem, since this directs your mldonkey to /mnt/Hd_a2/mldonkey and now he is providing for thos, who have problems editing the script, a new script using the second hard drive (selecting the temp download dir for each download is not possible with this client, moving the finished download however is solved).
Check the link below and use mlnet.sh provided by Shadowandy and you won't have any issues... There is also a dedicated topic for mldonkey here, read it through, it is useful
http://www.shadowandy.net/
Cheers,
Toni
