Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

NFS V3 on CH3SNAS

I thing the CH3SNAS should support NFS V3. On my System i only get V2 to run.
This happens when I enter mount from my dbox:

/var # mount
rootfs on / type rootfs (rw)
/dev/root on / type squashfs (ro)
none on /dev type devfs (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
/dev/mtdblock/3 on /var type jffs2 (rw)
tmpfs on /tmp type ramfs (rw)
192.168.2.20:/mnt/HD_a2/Filme on /mnt/filme type nfs (rw,v2,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,soft,udp,nolock,addr=192.168.2.20)
/var #

Is there any possibility to get it to V3? Thanks for any help

(fun.plug is working)

Re: NFS V3 on CH3SNAS

at request of Fonz only the NFS was enabled when configuring kernel (I believe) so that NFS could work with his fun_plug

That's working ..

So no idea what should be available on the Ch3SNAS

Re: NFS V3 on CH3SNAS

The kernel offers several NFS options: NFS-Server, NFSv3 Support, NFS over TCP. Maybe only basic NFS server support has been enabled.

Re: NFS V3 on CH3SNAS

So do you have a hint, how to enable NFS V3? I use fun plug 0.4 and nfs-utils 1.1? I still only get NFS V2 to work. Thanks a lot for your help.
