Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Thanks again KyleK.
I installed the new version and it's rocking so far.

Hello people
I use funplug 0.4 and Transmission 1.06, but torrents bigger than 10GB dont work....
1.06 is oooold. Use the one I released just some hours ago.

I keep getting the error message also:
Solved it by following what the rest suggested: echo /mnt/HD_a2/.transmission/daemon/socket > /mnt/HD_a2/www/pages/clutch/remote/data/socket.txt
Any idea why is this happening? Did I mess up the installation? Followed Kyle's instructions step by step.

I simply edit the socket.txt file using notepad and put in /mnt/HD_a2/.transmission/daemon/socket

Hello, I think I made a good installation following the tutorial. Clutch is launching from my browser, transmission is running.
However, just after a download starts, clutch shows the error "Permission denied"...
Anyone to help me ?
thank you

Did you set up the location to download to in the Clutch preferences ? If so does the location have the correct permissions?

Hi, Kylek
The download link for Transmission in this thread looks broken, server return 404 error.
Can you compile the latest build but with turtle icon (speed limit) enabled and reupload?
Thanks you.

I deleted the old releases after an update, but I forgot to mention this in the first post. Post updated, the links should work again.
As far as I can tell, the Turtle functionality was deactivated because of a bug. I don't know anything more about it.

Kylek, tks for compiled version of transmission
Now i have FFP0.5 and Transmission 1.11 runing on my NAS ( CH3snas), but the problem persists, from Clutch interface dont load torrents bigger than 10GB.
All works fine, downloads and uploads speed..etc..etc, but i cant load torrent files bigger than 10GB, also i have put the torrent in /.transmission/torrents and nothing....
any help ?
Tks.

Tthat's not much of an error description.
What exactly happens?
Does Clutch provide an error message?
What if you load the torrent via transmission-remote:
transmission-remote -a <torrentfile>
Does that work?
If the torrent file itself is rather large (>128kb) then lighttpd/PHP might be the culprit. I need more info to go on this.

Clutch dont load the torrent,Clutch stop......... just try yourself it a bigger torrent if you have time, you ill see.
The torrent file is smaller than 128kb....

I don't have access to such large torrents. I suggest you go over to the Clutch/Transmission forums at http://forum.transmissionbt.com

Then it is either a problem with Clutch or lighttpd. Check your lighttpd error.log

In Clutch, you have one working directory, but if you keep seed or download torrents, you also may change the directorie for new torrents, transmission keep the old torrents on the old directories, i have test, also i restart the transmission and the NAS, it Works.
Just Change the directorie in Clutch Preferences before the new torrents.

Try adding server.upload-dirs = ("/mnt/HD_a2/tmp") to lighttpd.conf, does it help?

And don't forget to create that directory :)

Proxy features still not included in transmission?

I'd say the first post is a start
Although those are more recent builds of Transmission checked out via SVN. I have them running for weeks and no problems so far.

A new version (1.20) of Transmission is out. I would be great if someone could compile it for the DNS.
