Optware/Apache working?

Hi,

Have anyone managed to get the Optware/Apache (2.2.8) to work? I managed to install it, set it up to listen to port 8080. The error_log file reports that everything is fine when I start the server, but I'm not able to contact the server...
I have attached the error_log file if that is any help.

Re: Optware/Apache working?

I get the same problem.  ps shows about 3 or 4 entries like '/opt/bin/apachectl -k start' (maybe the path is wrong as I uninstalled the package - so am typing from memory) and one or maybe to entries for httpd or [httpd].  I have apache2 running elsewhere (ie not on a dns323) and all of the processes ps lists for apache are called [httpd] (once apache has finished loading), so ... even though apache is listening I don't think it has finished loading correctly.  I also had several errors reported in the apache error log regarding killing child processes (possibly those that are listed as '/opt/bin/apachectl -k start').  This was all happening with only one .so module being loaded in httpd.conf.  I tried removing the package and reinstalling and also removing optware completely, no luck.  A pity as I wanted to use apache2 rather than lighthttpd.  Any likelihood of this being fixed or anybody any suggestions on steps to take?
thanks
lu
