Hi,
When do a find / -name xxx over my mounted shares I always get a warning about a wrong hardlinks count on one of my mounted shares.
Therefore, I would like to check all file systems for broken inodes or hardlinks and correct them. However, I can't find a menu option for performing a fsck on the file systems, and as I am not so aware about how the DNS is handling the RAID volume, I was afraid of doing it manually via telnet (unmounting the volumes and performing the fsck command).
Is there a safe way for checking the file systems of all Volumes?
Thanks,
bye
Marcus.

why don't you try the fsck from fonz? Yes you have to do it from telnet, but you don't need to unmount the drives - it is done for you. What you do need to do is to start the array before you run the check. Installation and usage instructions are available here: http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fsck/
I assume you have the drives set up as raid1
