I am trying to get my xBox 360 to show files from my DNS-323 and I see user discussing twonkymedia, they seem to say that it is "on the DNS-323". Is it truly installed on the unit, and if so how?

no, it isn't installed. If you want it on the bbox you will have to put it there yourself. There are lots of posts here about twonky, search the forum and I am sure you will find relevant posts. See also: http://dns323.kood.org/howto:twonkyupnpserver
