Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

You are not logged in.

Upgrading all fun_plug packages broke my NAS?!

Hello,

After some time not doing anything with fun_plug on my CH3SNAS I decided to update some things.

I rsynced and upgraded all packages (funpkg -u *.tgz).

After the upgrading, the ssh shell looked different when I logged in.

There was no path in the prompt, but just -ssh-3.2-: or something like that.

Also the funpkg command wassn't working anymore (missing).

I found this thread http://dns323.kood.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4233 about the PATH variable not being set, but that was not the case.

The PATH variable was set ok, but the funpkg file was no longer in the sbin folder.

It could be some kind of conflict with the very old fun_plug version I am using (funplug 0.5 from 13/4/2008).

*I tried to reboot the NAS, but now I can't login to the NAS anymore. Neither telnet or ssh.*

I made sure denyhosts isn't running, but still it keeps giving me connection denied when connecting.

It probably means I'll have to do a fresh install, but

A Maybe there's a quickfix?
B This thread might help others encountering the same stuff
C Maybe it's a symptom of some kind of problem somewhere that could/should be fixed.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!
