Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I've had NZBGet working well on my DNS-323 for over a year now, but would like to upgrade the web interface from v1.3 testing 3 to v1.4, but I'm really a newb with linux. I'd also like to it to be able to download bookmarked nzbs from NZBMatrix, if possible.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

You need to upgrade both the web interface as the main program. Normally it just copying the new files over the old files. I've just done that and everything works fine. You might need the linux cp (copy command) or midnight commander to do so.

Thanks wortelsoft and zeroday. Which updated files are the right ones for the DNS-323?

just go to nzbget.sourceforge.net and you can download the nicely named binary for dns-323
than you can adjust the script to serve your needs on your NAS
For myself and other users I have created a complete 'package' after installed fun_plug with its packages properly
http://www.aroundmyroom.com/2009/11/14/ … a-tweaker/
but it does not give you the latest binary and webinterface (yet)

Thanks! And that for the tutorial too.
For the web-interface, there looks to only be the source code - what do I with that? I'm obviously a newb.

web-interface, that is what we call html code with some javascript ;-)
that is something you put in the folder where lighttpd can read it (you need lighttpd with php enabled)
but if you are really really a newb ....
just follow my how-to and forget almost everything else.
