Added apr-1.4.6  apr_util-1.4.1  neon-0.29.6 subversion-1.7.3.
Recompiled most packages for oabi. Added transmission 2.50 for oabi.

Hi, is there a version of amule compiled for FFP0.7?

I compile this on my NAS, in a screen shell.
The steps I'm basically doing are:

ionice -c 3 nice screen
mkdir -p packagename/dest/install
echo "description" >packagename/dest/install/DESCR
echo "url" >packagename/dest/install/HOMEPAGE

wget package-url
tar xf package
cd package
./configure --prefix=/ffp
make
DESTDIR=/full/path/to/packagename/dest make install-strip (or ~ install/strip or ~ install)

But in many cases things have to be tweaked. (Tell configure to use ncurses, openssl, ..., first compile dependencies, sometimes small changes in the sourcescode). Before running the install step have a look in Makefile. Sometimes DESTDIR is overwritten.

And no, I don't think I will compile any oarm packages, as the current oarm distro is expected to be obsolete soon. Link.

Ok, I recompiled arm packages to oarm device.

For the moment, only these packages IS NOT compiled:
M2Crypto-0.21.1-arm-1
Python-2.7.2-arm-1
libsigc++-2.2.0-arm-1
libpar2-0.2-arm-1
gcc-solibs-4.6.2-arm-1
gcc-4.6.2-arm-1

But I am working on them.

Note: NodeJS is compiled but I think it doesnt work on oarm devices, could you please try ?

So oarm package are the same as oabi if you install oabi ffp.

So it is oabi packages

Nevermind, I actually figured out how to compile my own packages today and managed to get a version of lftp complied successfully without issue and it's working great!!  Thanks for your help though, I do appreciate it none the less.

Let me know if you would like me to include the compiled packages on this form so that you can add them to your repo and I will be more than happy to do so

Here are my compiled packages for LFTP 4.3.5 for fun_plug 0.7 (arm)

GnuTLS 2.10.1 -> http://www.datafilehost.com/download-b20bb7cb.html
LFTP 4.3.5 -> http://www.datafilehost.com/download-419e5904.html

Note that LFTP requires GnuTLS to be installed as well, along with libgcrypt-1.5.0-arm-1.txz and libgpg-error-1.10-arm-1.txz from slacker / fonz' repo.

The source files can be obtained from http://lftp.yar.ru/ and http://www.gnu.org/software/gnutls/

Did svn with ffp 0.5 build scripts. Didn't like it much. My scripts for 0.7 are here: http://ffp.inreto.de/ffp/0.7/src/ (or via rsync at rsync://ffp.inreto.de/ffp/0.7/src ).
Please note that optware usually cross-compiles packages, but I don't.

I have a question regarding downloading and building packages

for ffp0.5 there existed a script called make.sh that was used to download distfiles and building packages

Is there a similar script to build ffp0.7 or Im I intended  to download the logitechmediaserver-7.7.1-noCPAN.tgz
distfiles manually and use the logitechmediaserver.funpkg to compile it?
Is there somthing else that has to be done to compile a package

another question whats the difference between
logitechmediaserver.funpkg and logitechmediaserver.funpkg.1
