Here's hoping they get it working.  I'd really like to take advantage of the 323/360 combination; it means I don't have to have a PC running all the time to access our networked media.  Thanks for the update, Dlink.

Doesn't the 360 work if you install the twonky media server software on the 323?

Yes, but it's additional memory used and an added cost. (I did note that version 4.00 on my other NAS device keeps working in trail mode as long as the server reboots before the month is up. Sort of resets the counter.)

If you have a simple solution for thsi that would be great. Twonky works fine. I set it up on the 323 over the weekend and with the new MS dashboard update only a handful or older Divx aren't working. (So far only 6 of my divx are older than version 5...)

The included AV server only supports one folder to watch, I need at least two so Twonky is up until I have the time to see what is required to get two folders, one on each drive, included as source to stream.

I must say that when I was testing Twonky on my HPMediavault it was okay...but the 360 wouldn't show top level folders divided into groups, just the files or bottom level folders. With the last dashboard update it's improved greatly.

This X_MS_MediaReceiverRegistrar is required by the XBox and is for the purpose of DRM (Digital Rights Management), to check if a file is "OK" to play.

This is required by the XBox360 before it will display the MediaServer.

I am not sure if D-Link want to add an "emulator" for the X_MS_MediaReceiverRegistrar? Obviously none of the content on the D-Link would be MS DRM'd.

I suppose i could add to the latest firmware if there was demand? It is a simple code and can be added to the upnp server in a fairly straight forward and safe manner.
