Users/Groups Access on the DNS-323 compared to this on the CH3SNAS.

Hi,

On my CH3SNAS I can only ad 1 users to 1 group and give this group access to a directory. I cannot add another user to this group.
If I want to give more users acces to a certain dir I have to do this for each user.

So I'm wondering how the users and groups is working on the DNS-323?

I've tried each version of the released firmware of the CH3SNAS so if the DNS-323 is working differend it could be a bug.

Re: Users/Groups Access on the DNS-323 compared to this on the CH3SNAS.

it's just working 'fine'
added multiple users to the groups. Although i wrote you earlier in another forum that there is actually a bug with removing shares (cause trashcan is not doing it's job) ..

but in general the functionality of users and groups for ch3snas is eqal to dns 323

Your not getting the point, try to add user zeroday to another group called test2.......

if you read your text you report that you can only add one user to one group not that one user is not able to be added to multiple groups.

It was a little confusing. But I get the point totally and maybe we can review that feature.
